Calls
Calls
Nora can place a confirmation call after you click Call patient. She does not answer the practice phone.
What it is
One phone job: outbound. You ask Nora to call a patient about a visit they already have. She shows Call patient. The click is the approval. She dials.
The outbound number is classified as medical at the carrier so it is not screened as spam. Patients who call your office still reach a person.
Call a patient (outbound)
The practice phone must be connected, and calling must be on in your Personalization.
- In chat, ask Nora to call the patient, or click Call from a board row.
- Nora shows Call patient.
- Click it. That is the approval. She places the call.
Example
- You type
- Call Jordan Hale about tomorrow at 10 and confirm.
- Nora does
- Shows Call patient. After you click, she dials and reads a short confirm script.
- Patient hears
- Press 1 to confirm. Press 2 if they cannot make it.
Callbacks on the board
If a patient asks for a callback on that outbound confirmation call, they land in Callbacks on the board so the desk can return them. That is not a missed call to the practice main line.
What you need
- Phone connected (owner, Settings → Connectors)
- Calling on for your user (Settings → Personalization)
- A working plan
A completed confirmation call is time saved on Impact, not a booked slot. Nora does not answer after-hours calls on the office line.
